Neoregelia Mini 'Fireball'

Neoregelia 'Fireball' , which clumps via stolons, adds bright colour in hanging baskets or placed in trees in subtropical or tropical climates.

It is a descendant of one plant imported into the USA in 1960 by Nat de Leon. It is very likely a species that has never been identified.

Water sparingly. Use free draining potting mix.
Shallow containers & bright light will maintain its colour. They do well in hanging baskets or attached to trees, stumps or logs. Avoid midday summer sun.
Need to be grown hard. 1/4 teaspoon of slow release fertiliser high in potassium - or none at all.
